Light Art Intallation “OCULUCIS”

The eyes are the boundary between the known and the unknown, a suspended bridge between the abyss of the mind and the enchantment of the universe. Each gaze is a dance, a symphony of emotions intertwining in the sea of ​​eyes, reflecting the inner turmoil.

Yet, amid the folds of the horizon, wonder unfolds: an eye can carve mountains, dance with the stars, embrace the infinite. But even in the darkness of the night, the eyes remain vigilant, guardians of ancient secrets and lost hopes. The gaze is a beacon in the darkness, a light that guides the soul’s journey towards the dawn of a new day.

OCULUCIS are two giant illuminated sphere rappresenting 2 eyes that look at the sky. The diameter of each sphere is 3meter. They are made in nylon texture. A fan inflates them and they are illuminated inside. Through sound, we aim to transport the visitor on an emotional and conceptual journey through the multiple dimensions of sight: the physical, the internal, and the metaphysical.
